System Requirements: This CD requires a PC with CD-ROM disc drive and is executable among others on MacIntosh, Windows® (at least 69040 resp. 486/66 MHz und 32 MB RAM) and UNIX®. However, trouble free performance of extensive figures (incl. satellite images and 3-D representations) is possible only with Pentium® 166 or faster and 64 MB RAM. A high resolution monitor is recommendable!
The presented publication (research report / habilitation) is created with Word processing programs and converted to PDF-Format (Portable Document Format).
You can view - Files with ADOBE® ACROBAT® READER®. The PDF-Document offers comfortable interactive functions, incl. 'thumbnails' and 'bookmarks' for navigation.
The presented documents contain multitudinous internal links. A complete reference structure is available only for the file 'KehlAll.PDF' (26 MB: whole text, annex, tables and maps). All figures, photos, tables and maps can be enlarged! Interactivities between files are impossible.
For correct interpretation of diacritic characters used in - Files (e.g. names of turkish villages and geographic names) 'Turkish Fonts for Windows' are necessary. Please contact http://www.turkey.org). In the newest version of Windows these fonts were already installed. They have to be activated (cf. 'multilanguage support').
